The past few years have been an economic challenge for everyone including the Mowen Solinsky Gallery. Although affected radically, the loss of the gallery would include a loss of culture and would be felt county wide. Therefore through a concerted effort of partnering with supportive community members holding the vision of the Mowen Solinsky Gallery, together, the gallery will continue to serve for many years ahead as an artful presence in Nevada City. It is an honor to be recognized once more as The Best of Gallery in Nevada County 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009.
